HijackThis	download	Used to thwart browser hijacking. Useful in removing programs started at boot up.
Crap Cleaner	download	Used to remove all temporary files, scour the registry for unused and old entries for file extensions, activeX controls, ClassIDs, and more.

Note: AVG Free is an antivirus program. Only install AVG Free if you either do not already have an antivirus program running on your computer, or you believe that your existing antivirus program has been compromised. If AVG Free finds any viruses and you already have an antivirus program running on your computer, then you should uninstall AVG Free when it is done fixing things and reinstall your existing antivirus software so that it can prevent the infection next time.

Further Note: At any one moment in time, you should never have more than one of each of the following classifications of software running on your computer. Multiple firewalls will conflict with each other. Multiple anti-virus programs will conflict with each other, etc.
